Workcube ERP consulting and AI for retail companies
Version 1.0 — Last updated:
What should ERP solve in retail? Large product and variant ranges, store and online stock, prices and promotions, returns and heavy collections must meet in one record. Turkey-based Gramoni implements and configures Workcube ERP for retailers and deploys AI and automation, with human approval, for repetitive manual work. It has no retail-specific product.
Retail is one of the sectors where ERP handles the highest transaction volume. Every sale, every return and every price change touches stock and accounting records. Typical ERP problems in this sector:
- Product and variant count. Size, colour and model breakdowns multiply product cards; if the card structure is not set up right from the start, stock and reports become unreadable.
- Many channels, one stock. Stores, the warehouse and online channels sell the same stock; when one channel is recorded late, items that are not there get sold.
- Prices and promotions. Promotion rules change often; if the till price and the ERP price differ, margin reports are wrong.
- Returns and exchanges. A return has to be written back to stock, to collections and to accounting.
- Collection volume. POS and bank transactions are many and small; matching them by hand leaves accounting behind.
Industry snapshot
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the trade sector, which covers wholesale and retail trade, accounted for 46.8% of total turnover in Turkey in 2025, and 31.6% of active enterprises were in this sector (provisional results). TÜİK's Trade Sales Volume Index shows retail sales volume up 10.1% in August 2026 compared with the same month a year earlier.
A large part of sales has moved online. According to the Ministry of Trade, e-commerce made up 19.3% of general trade in 2025, and retail e-commerce volume rose 51.8% year on year to TRY 2.46 trillion.

How does a Workcube project run?
In this sector, master data usually decides how an ERP project goes. If product cards, variants, barcodes and prices are incomplete or inconsistent, stock and price gaps between channels start on day one.
Workcube's implementation methodology has eight phases, each with a written output. In Selection, a needs analysis and a POC workshop are held, and scope, budget and timeline are put in writing. In Design, processes are analysed, workflow diagrams and a fit-gap analysis are prepared, and the conceptual design is approved. In Configuration, master data is migrated; Gramoni provides a migration template for each data type and the company fills in its own data. In Go-live and training, users are trained and the company goes live in stages; Support and Sustainment follow.
What Gramoni offers in this industry
Gramoni works with companies in the retail sector. We have no retail-specific product; two of our services fit this sector:
- Workcube ERP consulting and implementation. Delivered with Workcube's eight-phase methodology, covering finance and accounting, CRM, HR, sales and distribution, and materials. Workcube is a Turkish ERP platform. Which needs standard screens meet and which call for company-specific development is set out in writing in the fit-gap analysis during the Design phase. Custom code is packaged as a separate module; Workcube's standard code is never modified.
- AI and automation. Applications that run on your own data, with every result going through human approval: agents that write records after approval, an identity-bound WhatsApp assistant, a searchable knowledge base, multi-channel notifications, monitoring and alerts. Workcube is not required. We do not train models on your data.
If you are still choosing an ERP, the ERP selection guide walks through the decision step by step.
What we do not do
We do not provide an in-store app, point-of-sale (POS) software or an e-commerce platform. The services on this page are consulting, configuration and AI applications.
Frequently asked questions
What is the hardest part of ERP in retail?
Volume and the number of channels. A large range of products and variants, several stores and online channels, frequently changing prices and promotions, and a heavy flow of sales and returns must stay consistent in one stock and accounting record.
Does Gramoni have a retail-specific product?
No. In retail, Gramoni provides Workcube ERP consulting and implementation, and AI and automation. Gramoni's warehouse product, WAMS Logistics, is not an in-store app.
Which modules does a Workcube implementation in retail start with?
That is decided together during the needs analysis in the Selection phase. The modules Gramoni implements are finance and accounting, CRM, HR, sales and distribution, and materials and production. Which module goes live first is set out in the written scope and timeline.
Where does AI help in retail?
The applications Gramoni builds run on your own data, and every result goes through human approval. Examples include agents that write records after approval, an identity-bound WhatsApp assistant, a searchable knowledge base and multi-channel notifications. We do not train models on your data.
