The project
Birlik Sünger, an industrial manufacturer based in Eskişehir, Turkey, has started a project on Workcube, a Turkish ERP platform. Birlik Sünger Kimya San. ve Tic. A.Ş. was founded in Eskişehir in 1987 and makes foam mainly for the furniture, bedding, cleaning and textile industries. The company will run its operations on Workcube.
The project is implemented by Gramoni, a Turkey-based Workcube partner. Go-live was targeted for early March 2021.
Phase one: production, finance and HR
The first phase moves these processes onto Workcube:
- production planning and material requirements planning (MRP),
- sales and purchasing,
- accounting and finance,
- credit and risk management.
HR moves to Workcube in the same project: personnel files and payroll, leave and expense management, and bonus calculations. Through Workcube's self-service screens, employees will be able to request advances and leave, approve their payslips from a mobile device, and contact the HR team directly.
Phase two: portals and banking
In the second phase, customer and supplier relations move to B2B portals built on Workcube. The phase also plans the roll-out of Wodiba, which brings a company's banking work into Workcube.
We describe how we implement Workcube on our Workcube ERP consulting page; for manufacturers in this sector, see chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
